Images found in the source format are uploaded to the Contentful media library.
If the image content wrapper configuration is disabled, images are directly embedded into the rich text content as assets.
If the content wrapper configuration is enabled, the import process creates a new content entry using the configured content type and populates the images on the new entry. The new entry is embedded in the rich text content.

An image wrapper is a content type which some organizations use to extend the fields available on the Contentful built in asset content type.
